Exciting developments at the Big K Guest Ranch & Guide Service!! Our guest ranch has been in operation with many recreational activities for 17 years. Now, with the addition of our bird hunting preserve, this will offer a well rounded experience for our wing shooting enthusiasts.
The Big K Guest Ranch is committed to providing the finest in professional upland game bird and waterfowl guides. That is why we are networking with one of Oregon’s best hunting guides, Jody Smith Guide Service and Steve Waller of Cabin Creek Kennels who brings the best in professionally trained gun dogs, steady to wing and shot. Steve’s highly skilled training and guiding of the dogs and hunts will offer the finest in upland game bird and waterfowl hunts.

Promotional Package
This package is designed to get your dog out in the field and warmed up for the hunting season. The promotional package for the hens will be available while the birds last. We do have roosters ordered but the delivery date has not been finalized yet. If you purchase a bird package, and book a night stay in the cabin, our trap house will be complimentary. We will cater to day hunts, weekend hunts, single hunters as well as party hunts.

Meals will always be available for purchase at the lodge (breakfast, lunch and dinner)!
- A Preserve Premit is required to hunt on any Preserve in Oregon. Premits are avaliable for purchase during check in.
-6.00 for Residents
-12.00 for Non-Residents - Hunters orange is required while hunting. We have some hats avaliable for purchase at the lodge during check in.
- A hunter in a group who chooses not to purchase a bird package will be charged a 25.00 land use fee to hunt another persons bird package. Women and youth 14 & under hunt for free. (no land use fee applied)
- Youth 18 years & under need to have a valid hunters safety card.
